Who You Are

As an Associate Product Manager, you will be an essential member of the team’s efforts to identify, prioritize, and communicate business opportunities for our homeowners and Hometap. Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll work cross functionally with engineers, designers, marketers, analysts, salespeople, and legal and security counsel to execute against our shared strategy. Your mandate is to improve our software user experience by offering quality, responsive support and informing future feature development.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Triaging and responding to all product support requests from Sales, Marketing, Investment Operations, and other internal stakeholders
  • Ongoing reporting and synthesis of product support issues as a strategic input to the roadmap
  • Proactively identifying and helping to create internal documentation as well as embedded modals, tooltips, and hotspots, designed to reduce support ticket volume and improve the software user experience
  • Supporting execution of our agile discovery and delivery process including sprint recap emails and monthly demos

What You Bring

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to make your points clearly and professionally. You provide instructions any user can follow. You help stakeholders understand why the software behaves the way it does.
  • Empathy for homeowners and all our internal stakeholders including engineers, designers, marketers, underwriters, and salespeople. You know that support issues represent a shortcoming with the software, not the user.
  • Technical curiosity to learn and understand how software works. You can effectively distinguish user error from system errors, and your bugs include clear steps to reproduction.
  • Comfort and curiosity with analytics—we currently use a combination of Segment, Amplitude, FullStory, and Tableau.
