About The Role

Do you live and breathe TikTok? Consider yourself an expert in the fashion space? Wish you could make it your job? Join our team as our TikTok Content Creator! As our TikTok Content Creator, you’ll work on the ShopShops content team, which oversees all creative content across our livestreams and events. As our TikTok extraordinaire, you'll focus on the scaling of our social media presence on TikTok, while also contributing to our Instagram. You'll create the social strategy and manage our TikTok content plan/calendar.

Looking for a position where you can be creative? We welcome new and creative ideas! You’ll work across teams - collaborating with our marketing, host, and content teams.

This job will require you to go out and about in NYC to create these videos and sometimes may include going to our in-house studio.

What You’ll Bring

  • The ability to relate to our ShopShops demographic (fashion focused millenials and gen xers) on the TikTok platform, while also reaching a new, younger audience (Gen Z)
  • High-level and intuitive understanding of the TikTok platform
  • Deep understanding of what works/doesn't work on TikTok (trends, sounds, lingo etc) You need to walk the walk and talk the talk
  • Demonstrated success creating content for TikTok ***Please be ready to share your TikTok page with us***
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, with careful attention to detail.
  • High level of organizational, project planning and follow-through, presentation, and time management skills
  • An overall positive energy

Responsibilities

  • Create social strategy for our TikTok page
  • Be one of the faces of our company on TikTok and other social media channels to promote and

highlight trending/relevant topics for brand awareness, follower growth and sales conversion.

  • Develop new and creative highly engaging content to grow our TikTok audiences, educate and drive reach and awareness
  • Engage with audience in a timely manner to posts, questions, comments
  • Host TikTok Lives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify successes and choose/develop content for possible ad spending

All members of the content team are required to be vaccinated
