As a Venture Associate, you are responsible for finding the best startups globally, pitching them to the Managing Director, and influencing them to apply to the Techstars LA program. You find these startups by building strong relationships with the startup community, forging new partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted resource for startups. Additionally, you will focus on growth and the growth metrics of startups in, and immediately following program. You will build relationships with the Techstars investor network in order to support in the sourcing of companies as well as help portfolio companies with funding. You are constantly meeting with entrepreneurs and educating yourself on emerging trends and technologies in the venture capital industry. You also oversee the operations and logistics of the Techstars application process for upcoming programs. You’ll maintain strong bonds with the startups you bring into the program, acting as a resource and looking out for relevant opportunities and introductions to support their success.

Compensation range: $100,000 - $125,000 + $5,000 Bonus
