We’re looking to hire a part-time Business Operations intern to support our finance department with critical functions related to Flockjay’s student tuition. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between Flockjay and our students and alumni, addressing tuition-related inquiries and ensuring tuition collections run smoothly. You will work closely with Flockjay’s Chief of Staff and gain exposure to company management.

What you'll do

• Own inbound communications from current Tech Fellows and alumni to address tuition-related inquiries and guide them to the right resources
• Lead outbound outreach to remind alumni of tuition commitments
• Manage communication cadences using customer engagement tools and continue driving scalable methods to contact alumni
• Manage alternative payment schedule execution
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to closely track and analyze payment activity

What you’ll bring

• Scrappy, get-it-done attitude and an appetite to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously but also collaborate with a distributed team when needed
• Willingness to take lead on projects
• Experience using Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel) and Google Suite
