We are hiring a Head of Commercial and Operations 

Biome Makers is an AgTech company specialized in microbial analysis of soils for the agriculture industry. We leverage proprietary DNA Sequencing technologies and Intelligent Computing to monitor microbial networks of soils to accelerate the worldwide transition to regenerative agriculture.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead the global commercial & operations team. This role reports directly to the CEO while collaborating with Heads of other departments (Marketing, Finance, IT and Data Science).

Location: United States (remote job).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drawing upon agriculture, food, sciences, or biotechnology experience, determine commercial and operational strategy to position Biome Makers as the biotech startup leading the microbiome revolution in agriculture
• Own and understand the complete sales funnel from lead acquisition to close
• Build and optimize sales operations as we scale to 15+ global representatives
• Play key role in deepening our relationships with partners & clients alike 
• Help your team(s) to build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure that revenue targets will be met
• Participate in the establishment of monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic goals of the company as well as manage commercial team(s) budget.

Job Competencies & Personal Attributes:

• Proven leader, with the ability to motivate individuals and cultivate high performing teams
• 7+ years in executive leadership role, leading all (or most) aspects of sales/operations workflows
• Ability leading high-performing teams with data-driven strategies & KPI’s
• Strong communication skills. Skilled at communicating complex technologies 
• Strong proactivity and problem-solving capabilities
