DCVC is seeking an experienced Research Analyst (contract) to support our efforts to present our insights about Deep Tech to the world. The ideal candidate will be hypothesis-driven and self-motivated. As Research Analyst, you make an impact by working with DCVCs Partners and marketing leadership to produce original research that will be the basis a series of public-facing reports on trends on Deep Technology, based the on the firm’s extensive research and experience as a leader in venture capital. DCVC’s research analyst will produce original research to support the production of a written report, infographics, and 2-page executive summary.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • 2 – 5 years as a research associate at a major consultancy or financial institution
  • Advanced degree in relevant field of science or technology or economics preferred
  • Statistical literary a must and outstanding analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions
  • Ability to present data in charts clearly
  • Ability to produce well designed professional looking PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
