What You’ll Do

COLLABORATE | As a Paid Media Specialist, you’ll work closely with members of your team and other members of Kynship to create new ad concepts based on the content we’re able to source. You’ll be a champion of communication, giving and receiving feedback in a timely manner, while making sure everybody on your team has clarity on campaign performance and creative testing results.

EXECUTE | Facebook Ads Manager will be your new best friend. You will oversee writing of compelling direct-response advertising copy and ensuring all strategic initiatives are built and launched according to strict timelines and agreed-upon budgets across multiple accounts. Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and data-driven decision making are all essential characteristics in becoming a best-in-class Paid Media Specialist at Kynship.

ADAPT | In an ever-changing digital marketing landscape, you’ll need to constantly adapt and evolve. As a Paid Media Specialist, you’ll combine data analysis and feedback from clients to develop strategic plans and tactical recommendations for targeting, messaging and optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs. You’ll also conduct multivariate tests in order to determine the best performing creative and target audiences for your campaigns. You incessantly investigate account performance and are constantly adapting strategy based on statistical outcomes in your accounts.

COMMUNICATE | You’ll have two audiences competing for your attention, and you’ll be ultra-communicative with both. First come our clients. You’ll jump on weekly calls to discuss progress in accounts, as well as the ways you’re seeing them win. Second comes your team and other internal groups. These groups are going to want to know what strategies you’re deploying, and what performance metrics and KPIs are being achieved, ensuring client satisfaction.

What Success Looks Like

  • Prepare materials including timelines, client updates, progress reports as needed for both clients, and internal meetings with contractors
  • Having full awareness of your ad accounts’ performance and spend pacing, creating and executing a full-funnel ad account strategy, writing copy and building ads in a timely manner, and working with your team to ideate on creative concepts.
  • By the 3 month mark, you should feel confident scaling and optimizing accounts, taking full ownership over your ad accounts, and being able to determine what success looks like for clients and what levers to pull to get there.
  • By the 6 month mark of working with us you should have the ability to strategize holistically to apply learnings towards improving other acquisition channels, ideate new advertising campaigns based on past account best performing sales, and understand what is happening in accounts across the company as a whole and be able to apply these learnings to your own ad accounts.

  • Driven by details. You’re meticulous, thorough, and enjoy being precise
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment with a high level of collaboration
  • Strong pitching, presentation, and communication/ writing skills. Familiar with Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft, etc.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Teamwork-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and client retention
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively that ensures follow through to client success.
  • Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills.
