What You'll Do:

• Work closely with the Senior Growth Marketing Lead to develop and implement successful SEO strategies - meta optimizations, content creation, data pulling, and trend research
• Regularly conduct keyword research and provide marketers with recommendations to amend content, including metadata
• Partner with our external SEO vendors to find areas of opportunity to continuously improve visibility and traffic to the websites
• Develop and implement link building strategy (internal and external) to help build website authority
• Keep up to date with trends and SEO best practices
• Measure success using a variety of SEO resources including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and AHRefs
• Design, implement, and strengthen topically focused content sections to improve SEO performance and user engagement.
• Stay current on emerging trends, SEO best practices and the latest algorithmic updates.
• Hands-on experience in external link acquisition, preferably with established online content publishers or SEO agencies that serve such clients.

What We're Looking For:

• You have 4+ years experience with SEO, preferably with startups and early stage companies
• You’ve got the SEO best practices in your back pocket, and you’re looking to grow
• You’re able to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize work effectively while meeting deadlines
• You’re excited​ ​to​ ​be​ ​part​ ​of​ ​a​ ​growing​ ​team,​ take initiative, and drive results
• You are proficient in SEO industry tools, such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, BuzzStream, NinjaOutreach, Pitchbox, and Link Research Tools, etc.
• Experience working within various Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, preferred

• Strong content & copy skills to be a self starter (craft strong outreach emails, maintain & update content)
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO skills
• Data heavy skillset to present, report & understand SEO metrics at scale
• Active in being up to date with latest SEO trends and knowledge (you participate in FB Groups, Slack Groups, are active on message boards, etc.)
