JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as a key member of the HR team and lead our talent acquisition strategy. This high impact position will be the subject matter expert in attracting and recruiting talent, applying advanced sourcing best practices, and translating sourcing concepts into practical application while demonstrating the ability to stretch from strategic to tactical in support of the business. The Talent Acquisition Manager will also support the company enterprise across all business units and levels.

 

NOTE: This position is for candidates in the Charlotte metro area only.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize talent levels and optimize achievement of the organization's mission, goals, and objectives by proactively managing the full-life cycle recruiting process for all positions
  • Meet or exceed all key performance indicators
  • Build talent pools for current and future talent needs
  • Networks with active and passive candidates to create pipelines for key positions
  • Become “DTC Native” – stay abreast of trends and hot companies in the direct-to-consumer ecommerce industry, network with thought leaders, and become the “first call” for high quality talent in the industry
  • Represent the company’s brand to prospective job seekers and the talent market as a whole – the Talent Acquisition Specialist is the company’s standard bearer and works every day to strengthen the company’s national reputation as a premier destination for top-tier talent
  • Designs and drives process improvements and best practices to create the most efficient and effective talent acquisition process possible
  • Remain abreast of the company's structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Serve as the point of contact and liaison with recruiting agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Complete timely reports on recruiting activity
  • Continue to create innovative approaches in attracting talent through new ways of recruiting
  • Manage every aspect of the Applicant Tracking System
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High-energy self-starter with a strong desire to exceed all targets. The ideal candidate must instinctively aspire to surpass targets and understand that results are a direct result of your enthusiasm, resourcefulness, resilience, and efficiency
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience achieving success during periods of growth and change
  • Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflow between candidates and hiring managers
  • Effectively manages recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience required
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing, exceptionally strong networking skills, candidate research, and cold calling experience
  • Strong problem solving by proactively driving results and being solution oriented
  • Demonstrated decision making through global thinking by balancing individual responsibility
  • Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service skills, and work in a large team environment
  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business partners
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
