Walkee Paws is an early-stage company in the lucrative, fast-growing pet accessory space. The brand launched in 2018 selling DTC on Shopify and Amazon. Revenue has doubled each year to over $1M in 2020. The brand is profitable and well-funded.

We are looking to expand our digital footprint (we are about to launch on Chewy.com) and Brick and Mortar distribution channels.

Walkee Paws appeared on Shark Tank Feb 26, 2021 and since then demand has increased dramatically. We are looking to scale and need to build a talented team to support that growth.

Walkee Paws is currently managed by the founder who has a strong creative bent with marketing, product development and design expertise. She is looking for a person to manage all the accounting, operational, sales systems and financial aspects of the business. 

The candidate will partner with the founder in developing and implementing our current budget and long-term plan. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance and operations of the business suggesting ways to maximize revenues and reduce costs. Also ensuring all the operational aspects are running smoothly, including integrations with new retailers.

• Oversee Customer service and manage the Warehouse to ensure orders are being fulfilled and shipments are being received optimally.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for purchasing and quality control standards.
• Explore new digital retail outlets and Brick and Mortar.
• Manage integration of all new retailers.
• Oversee and monitor the financial reporting against budgets and long-range plan.

The candidate needs the following skill set:

• Strong financial and operational business skills
• Shopify and Amazon experience
• Excellent computer and technology skills
• Ideal to have had experience with Startup infrastructure 
• Experience with running operations and logistics for a small startup

Commensurate with experience to include cash and equity
