The role:
The Patient Engagement Manager is responsible for building a comprehensive patient outreach and engagement strategy to find and connect chronic ischemic stroke patients living with upper extremity deficiency, with a healthcare provider for a Vivistim assessment. For those that do qualify for Vivistim, the patient engagement manager will use process and technology to keep the patient engaged through the entire journey from Vivistim implant to through the therapy process. The Vivistim System is an implanted device that enables chronic stroke patients to regain use of their upper limbs. The Patient Engagement Manager will primarily leverage digital channels, but may assist the sales team in working with customers to leverage their existing databases.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including affiliate, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative acquisition and engagement strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Develop conversion points and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Skills & Qualifications:
You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This manager will work with teammates and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget. Regular updates, occasional presentations to senior management and strong communication skills are required of this strong team player.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audience segments and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Education & Work Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
- 3+ years working experience in digital marketing.
- Medical device experience required.
- Additional startup or small company experience preferred.
- Neurostimulation or rehab experience is preferred.
