Job Description

The Prenatal Product Marketing Manager plays and integral role in maximizing the commercial impact of Myriad Women’s Health (MWH) prenatal products. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the overall marketing team and sales leaders to develop and execute downstream marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and utilization of the prenatal tests across patients and providers.

Responsibilities

Drive marketing mix to promote prenatal portfolio and generate leads (40%)

  • Execute marketing strategy, leveraging communication channels that are most relevant to our key segments including the sales team, traditional and digital media, and other stakeholders (MD’s, Genetic Counselors, clinical staff or clinic administrators, advocacy groups)
  • Develop and track strategy success through agreed-upon metrics; suggest improvements based on analytics; develop and implement communication plan on metrics
  • Support awareness and demand generation programs (e.g. PR, advertising, tradeshows, direct marketing) for existing products and new product launches
  • Collaborate with sales directors and area managers to provide materials and education to field sales teams

Support product launches (30%)

  • Develop deep insights about our providers and patients and their journey throughout the prenatal screening process; coordinate and participate in market research to support marketing programs
  • Utilize insights to partner closely with the Women’s Health Clinical Marketing, Product Development, Medical Affairs and Customer Success teams in the development of provider and patient innovations and improvements to drive volume growth and retention
  • Maintain competitive insights to influence product positioning and development

Day-day execution (20%)

  • Collaborate in re-branding marketing materials
  • Work with Marketing Cloud team and Digital Marketing Manager to setup campaigns in salesforce
  • Monitor internal and external resource progress on initiatives
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and purchase orders

Personal development (10%)

  • Proactive in building relationships across the company
  • Access and use industry resources; bring new ideas, process improvement opportunities, or agencies to the to the organization to keep up with marketing trends
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Coordinate with sales to visit customers to learn about customers’ evolving environment and sales process/tactics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in healthcare marketing preferred
  • Experience is desired in brand management, strategic plan development, relationship building, execution of tactical plans, project management, and cross-functional work
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to take risks; innovative spirit

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in DTC marketing (preferably in the consumer genetics space)
