THE ROLE:

We are looking for a self-motivated Sr. Director of Brand Activations who is passionate about creating unique, breakthrough consumer and audience experiences. This role reports to the VP of Brand, and oversees off-platform brand executions, including organizational marketing partnerships, media partnerships, PR, experiential and talent activation. Brand Activations will be a key strategy for Athletic Greens as we become a more culturally relevant and recognizable brand. The leader of this team should have both creative and operational leadership capabilities, and to thrive while driving collaborative, cross-functional efforts.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Work cross-functionally with other leaders in the Marketing, Product and Partnerships teams to guide activation strategy and execution.
  • Manage team of activation managers who will more directly oversee executions.
  • Build a talent management and activation function with Athletic Greens to foster stronger relationships with our top-tier ambassadors and ensure creative and strategic excellence in our executions with them.
  • Provide creative management and oversight of major media and B2B partnerships.
  • Manage external vendor relationships for brand-building PR.
  • Manage relationships with key third-party organizations like not for profits, teams and leagues.
  • Set strategy and guidelines for our Partnerships team to keep business-building relationships on brand.
  • Set roadmap to increase cultural awareness and brand love through activations that break through the noise.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-11 years of experience within Brand Marketing.
  • 4+ years of Leadership/Management experience within Brand Marketing, with a proven track record of innovative work for culturally relevant publishers or brands.
  • Experience working in social and digital-focused brands.
  • Experience managing relationships with top tier talent.
  • Understanding of experiential landscape and best practices.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketplace and how to leverage for amplification of brand stories.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
  • A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!
  • DTC Experience strongly preferred.
