Our Statistics and Privacy team focuses on establishing step-change improvements to advance our long-term business growth. The team's expertise spans many domains including statistics, economics, machine learning and cryptography. We develop methodologies, design and prototype solutions, and partner with our engineering colleagues to launch these solutions such that over ten million advertisers can benefit. Examples include internal and external experimentation platforms, ads delivery optimization for efficient causal outcomes, and the application of privacy enhancing technologies across our ads product stack.

Facebook seeks a research scientist manager to join Statistics & Privacy and lead our London-based r&d efforts. This unique role will afford the opportunity to serve as both a scientific leader for cutting-edge applied research, and to guide a team of research scientists to reach new heights. Projects entail building scientifically rigorous systems with novel approaches across areas of ranking and experimentation, with our London-based team focusing on advertising and commerce.
