Citi's D10x program is one of the most admired venture building programs in financial services. We recently helped Citi defend a position on FastCompany's "best places to work for innovators" for the second year. More importantly 2020 was a banner year for us, with a spin out / industry consortium, multiple launches, and unparalleled partnership with Citi's core business leaders. 

The backbone of our program is our talent, focused on our venture builders, the entrepreneurs in residence (EiRs). We are now looking for new EiRs to join the amazing team in London and New York. 

Our EiRs have unique, and unorthodox backgrounds, and their "outside in" perspective is critical to our success. The EiRs combine a rare set of hard and soft skills, wearing their experience and learning lightly. They reframe solutions as problems to be solved, ideas as hypotheses to be validated, and hold themselves and each other to high standards of craft, discipline, and intellectual honesty. 

We have internalised that diverse teams make better decisions, and pursue diversity in all forms.  We have found that our most successful EiRs meet the following criteria: 

• Founder or founding team of a venture-backed startup (ideally B2B and/or fintech) 
• Comfortable across the venture lifecycle, and with demonstrable depth at the super early and go to market stages 
• Deep comfort, passion and experience with the tools of customer development and product management 
• Hands-on experience of highly regulated institutional / corporate innovation (e.g. health,  financial services) and B2B – and what it takes to do great customer and product development in those environments 
• Amazing written and verbal communication and very senior stakeholder management 
• Ability to operate at pace, with alignment and autonomy, but with instinctively high levels of governance and collaboration

The EiR is a contractor role. Currently remote, we are based in Canary Wharf (London) and TriBeca (NYC).
