Easy Crypto (EC) has been making buying, selling and trading cryptocurrency well, easy, since 2018, with a mission to provide equal access to financial betterment through the transformational power of crypto. We’re pretty proud of the platform we’ve created and the tech that’s got us to over 100,000 users globally, but it’s time to step it up a notch and that’s where you come in!

We’re looking for a Chief Technology Officer to help make us better, slicker, smarter and faster so we can continue to deliver a world class cryptocurrency experience. You’ll be a core member of the EC Executive Team with the opportunity to scope, design and deliver the technology and product strategy for the company, helping us drive and achieve our ambitious growth plans. We have the culture and opportunities of a start-up, working remotely and collaboratively across the globe (we call this “collaborative hustle”), but also strong foundations of success that you can build on.

We imagine you’ll have some ideas to make the role your own, but we’re thinking you’ll:

• Scope, design and deliver our technology and product strategy and delivery roadmap aligned to the overall company mission and goals.
• Provide leadership of the technology function, building a world class team who will ensure Easy Crypto has a market leading technology offering that will distinguish us globally as the simplest, smartest and fastest way to trade cryptocurrencies.
• Lead all aspects of the development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance, and everything in between.
• Ensure EC’s security solutions and processes are of the highest quality, effectively managing risks without compromising functionality. 
• Be a creative thought leader who will provide the Executive Team, Board and Investors with insights, advice and guidance on current and future technology trends and methodologies.

The experience and skills you’ll bring:

• 10+ years in architecture, software/ computer engineering with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Strong leadership, project management capabilities and team management skills with proven success of building, developing and leading distributed engineering teams
• Experience leading technology transformation for a high growth company.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends, security and software development best practice.
• A flexible, hands-on approach and the ability to multitask while delegating in a fast-paced environment.
• A visionary mindset who isn’t constrained by what’s been done in the past but thrives creating better solutions for the future.
• A collaborative hustler who has proven success leading a high performing team and working closely with others at a senior level to deliver exceptional results.
• At least a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline or a demonstrated track record in software development.
• Blockchain experience would also be a bonus.
