PURPOSE & JOB SUMMARY
Support the Digital + Ecommerce Team in building, deployment, and testing of email and SMS marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to oversee the marketing content calendar
- Draft content for email and SMS channels that follows established brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the Creative Team and Brand Comms Team to obtain all necessary assets for all email marketing campaigns
- Manage the testing, building, and deployment of all email & SMS campaigns
- Proactively propose new A/B tests, analyze results, and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance
- Weekly and monthly reporting on email & SMS performance metrics
- Perform list segmentation and hygiene where appropriate along
- Leverage data-driven segmentation and personalization
- Improve email engagement through KPIs through regular A/B testing and automation
- Monitor open rates and sending domain reputation
- Weekly meetings with Digital Team to discuss performance and strategies
- Support other lines of business with any email marketing needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- We’re looking for candidates who have a passion for writing and digital organizing.
- Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience drafting engaging online content, preferably in an ecommerce setting.
- Experience with SMS content writing and production is strongly preferred, but not required.

- Must be a strong writer, editor, and proofreader
- Experience drafting short-form content
- A sense of creativity and a willingness to try new things
- A strong sense of teamwork
- College degree (in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred but not required)
- 2+ years of experience in the e-commerce industry
- Must be comfortable moving at a fast pace
- Highly self-motivated, team player, reliable
- Experience using Email and SMS Service Providers (Bronto, Square, or Attentive experience is a plus)
- Strong communication skills, grammar, and attention to detail
- Understanding of best practices for email accessibility and deliverability.
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other email compliance regulations.
- Must have a love for Email and SMS marketing
