Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the Marketing team’s initiatives including brand building programs, digital and traditional media campaigns, and fan engagement activations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with digital marketing campaigns, including emails, ads and website maintenance
Assist with development, scheduling and traffic of media plan elements
Track day-to-day internal and external marketing efforts for department
Assist with operations of fan engagement programs - Mr. and Mrs. Met’s Kids Club, Club Mets, Amazin’ Getaways: develop membership packages, liaise with vendors, customer service
Gameday activities: assist with coordination and execution of Mets Plaza/Family Sunday activations, batting practice visits, Fan Appreciation, Mr. & Mrs. Met Dash, special events, tours, etc.
Along with Senior Director of Marketing, oversee assignments and schedule for department associate and interns
Monitor entertainment/marketing landscape for trends and best practices
Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Organization skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines
Interpersonal skills: build collaborative working relationships within MC&C group, with members of other departments, external media partners
Communication skills: exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office package; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
B.S./B.A. Degree
Two-three years of experience in marketing/sports/entertainment environment preferred
Available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
This position regularly requires sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time
While performing some job duties, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
