Major League Baseball (MLB) is seeking to fill a Campaign Manager, Performance Media position in the Marketing Department. He or she will be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution and operations of paid media campaigns across programmatic display, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, SEM, and other biddable media platforms.

 

Objectives/Roles

  • Support day-to-day execution of company’s paid media campaigns across multiple channels (SEM, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Video, Audio)
  • Optimize paid media campaigns with a focus on increasing return on investment
  • Assist with campaign successes by testing new creative, optimizing bidding strategies, and shifting budgets between channels when necessary
  • Assist in campaign reporting with written analysis
  • Ability to learn and utilize internal systems and other biddable media platforms
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Manage additional projects as assigned
  • Ability to adjust as role and business needs evolve


Crucial Competencies / Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in building and optimizing paid media campaigns
  • Foundational knowledge of SEM, Programmatic Display, Video, or Paid Social and optimization tactics
  • Experience with bid management platforms (Search Ads 360, Display and Video 360, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Ads, etc) a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights occasionally throughout the year, as needed
  • Team player with the ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of MLB staff and partners 
  • Baseball and sports enthusiast is preferred
