The 17-time World Champion Boston Celtics are seeking an activation professional. The responsibilities will include implementing assigned partner assets such as in-market/in-arena activation, branded content creation, social media campaigns, online and retail promotions, community-based programs and event planning/execution. This position will work closely with the Partnership Sales, Partner Development, Ticket Operations and Community Engagement groups to ensure we are delivering best-in-class fully integrated partnerships.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the day-to-day contact for execution and fulfillment of assigned Corporate Partners
Liaise with partner contacts to develop and deliver effective and measurable marketing partnership platforms, by handling expectations, presenting timelines, and ensuring contract fulfillment
Lead the planning and execution of all assigned partners' contractual elements, including traditional media assets, digital and social platforms, in-market promotions, in-stadium activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs
Work across the Celtics business channels to help craft and execute pre-season planning sessions, action plans and all marketing, media, social, digital community relationships, promotions, and events for assigned accounts
Generate and present annual activation strategic plans and season recaps for all partners assigned
Focus on providing measurable results that demonstrate value for our Corporate Partners
Handle tracking and reporting value of partnership initiatives & objectives
Strive to achieve or exceed organization and department renewal revenue objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven experience in corporate partnership activation or premium service, preferably for a team, league, property or sports marketing agency
Knowledge of partnership platforms, including content, social media, community engagement, branding, and in-market activation
Excellent verbal and written skills to drive communication with internal teams and external clients
Willingness to be an outstanding teammate
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business environments and circumstances
Open to travel as needed for out of market activations and meetings
Strong time management, customer service and organizational talents
Proactive individual available to work nights, weekends and potentially holidays depending on the needs of the department and NBA schedule
