Position Summary:

The Coordinator, Video Production develops multimedia content as part of the Creative Services team for the Miami Marlins. This includes concepting and executing all facets of the production process with responsibility for quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness. They will work with the Creative Services team, internal clients and external partners to create a range of projects including: promotional videos, narrative content, short-form digital content, player and fan hype pieces and more. The position requires content capture, editing and pitching ideas and concepts to make impactful videos for the Miami Marlins

Essential Functions:

Conceptualize, create and capture compelling content

Capture may include: event coverage, interviews, game-action, crowd and fan coverage, player video shoots

Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables

Edit and finalize video content for video projects for web, social, TV and in-game, optimizing video content for different platforms.

Working closely with clients and Creative Director to present a final product that meets the objective

Participate in meetings with internal clients to determine project scope and production schedules

Contribute to ideation and brainstorming for compelling video content

Meet and manage deadlines while ensuring quality output

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in all areas of video production, including filming, editing, lighting, sound, motion graphics, color correction, and publishing.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (High Competency in Premiere Pro and After Effects required. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Audition is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Cameras, Lenses and lights – Knowledge of New Model Sony Cameras Preferred
  • General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology
  • Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
  • Familiarity with Mac and PC systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
  • Able to work non-traditional hours including some weekends
  • Physical ability to lift heavy video equipment is required.
  • Spanish knowledge is a plus

 

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years of related work experience
