What makes your team, product and purpose so darn special? What will you gain from joining us?
We're developing technology with the potential to positively change the lives of millions of babies. As an early team member in a fast-growing team, you'll be able to own your role from day zero, grow with the company, and make a real contribution to turning our collective vision into reality.

We are looking for an Office Manager to join the team and help organise the smooth operations of the company, taking ownership of tasks across all facets of the business. As an early stage startup, you would have a broad range of responsibilities and a huge amount of room for personal growth. We’re an impact driven company and you would be directly contributing to our vision of a world in which no baby dies or is left with a preventable disability at birth.

About ResusRight:

ResusRight is a young Australian MedTech startup with a mission to save newborn lives by improving the way we resuscitate infants. Based out of Sydney, ResusRight was founded in early 2020 by a group of clinicians and PhD researchers working on the leading edge of neonatal intensive care medicine. Our vision is that no baby should die or be left with a preventable disability at birth. We believe in the power of innovative technology to empower clinicians and change the lives of babies for the better. Having just raised a seed round, ResusRight is hiring to expand capabilities and looking for mission-driven people to join us on our journey to save lives.

What We Do:

Every year around the world 10 million newborns require help to start breathing. Of these, 1 million babies die and 1 million babies develop a permanent disability due to a lack of oxygen at birth. Our products aim to optimise the process of resuscitation by helping clinicians resuscitate better. Our goal is better outcomes for the vulnerable babies that need help in their first moments of life.

In this role you will:

  • Work directly with the executive team to manage smooth day-to-day operations across all facets of the business.
  • Take ownership over a range of general administrative tasks like liaising with bookkeepers and other consultants.
  • Support the sales process - communicating with customers, sending out information packs and facilitating a responsive customer experience.
  • Be responsible for handling, triaging and responding to inbound business enquiries.
  • Organise travel and plan company events.
  • Help manage social media channels.
  • Execute on a diverse range of tasks and initiatives as required.

About You:

  • You have a few years (or more) of demonstrable experience in the workplace or other team environment.
  • You’re a fast learner - you’ll be performing a wide range of tasks and we’ll support you to pick up any skills that you don’t have, but you have to be comfortable learning quickly and efficiently.
  • Obsessed with organisation - you’re going to be helping the executive team lay down the organisational backbone of the company and should exhibit a great attention to detail.
  • Outgoing and people-focused - it should excite you that you’re going to be interacting with a large variety of stakeholders, team members and customers through this job.
  • Comfortable with the unexpected - you’ll be working in a startup environment where unforeseen challenges will arise regularly that need to be dealt with.
  • Most importantly...You get stuff done - you love rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, whether it be a small admin task or ownership of a larger project.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Canva or graphic design equivalent to develop attractive materials for both internal and external distribution.

What we offer:

  • Rewarding, impact-focused work - we have a vision that no baby should die or be left with a preventable disability at birth and are working every day to make that happen.
  • Huge amount of opportunity for personal growth - this role has substantial scope to take on extra responsibility and taking initiative is highly encouraged.
  • An inclusive and friendly work environment.
  • A fast-paced environment where your contribution will be directly linked to business outcomes.
  • Offices in Darlington and happy to discuss flexible work arrangements.
